Biography
Once you choose HOPE anything is possible….
Horse riding, bass playing, and bird watching Alicia Hope lives on coastal acreage dotted with Australia’s famous gum trees and frequented by birds, roos, goannas, and pretty-face wallabies. Alicia also shares her Queensland home with an author husband, Frank H Jordan, and a feathered larrikin, cockatiel Kewbie Kewberton.
Her feel-good stories showcase Alicia’s love of the land and the natural world, and this is certainly true of her latest novel, The Long Road to Loving Jackson. Inspiration for the story came from a display of trick riding at a country show, and from passing regularly in her travels a gracious old homestead on sweeping cattle country with the Great Diving Range at its back door, viz ‘Granger Farm’.
Writing this book gave Alicia a chance to re-live the joys of farming life, and she hopes readers also enjoy this very country, very Aussie tale ... and all her stories!
